A URL shortening and redirection service that also lets you track hits and visitor stats

Enter a URL and generate a U2W3 URL that you can use in emails or on your blog to redirect people back to the original URL.

Public shared U2W3 URL's are the same for everybody, ie, if 100 people create a redirect to www.bbc.co.uk the U2W3 URL will be exactly the same for all of them. You can still track stats for these URL's but they will not be unique to you. Public shared U2W3 URL's are prefixed with a - (minus) sign.

Sign-up or Login to create U2W3 URL's which are unique to you and allow you to view basic statistics on the number of hits (redirect requests), top referers and user agents (browsers).

Create (or return an existing) public shared U2W3 URL
(You must have signed-up and be logged in to generate non-public shared U2W3 URL's)

What? In a little more detail please!

What?

  1. Turn long URL's into short U2W3 URL's (like this: http://u2w3.com/-1234) that are easier to email, tweet, post on your blog or tell somebody about on the phone.

  2. Sign-up to create your account and access URL's that you have created. Create public shared URL's that are the same for everybody (ie, if two people create a U2W3 URL to redirect to http://www.bbc.co.uk then the generated U2W3 URL will be the same, and prefixed with a - (minus) sign). Create unique U2W3 URL's redirects to any URL you want when signed-up and logged in.

  3. View basic stats about the number of hits (redirects) that your U2W3 URL has received and see where people clicking on your U2W3 URL are coming from and what web browser they are using.
